Elizabeth Fetter, chief executive of module manufacturer NxGen Modular, said a modular solution can be 15 to 30 percent cheaper than building a brick-and-mortar data center. Her San Jose-based company has deployed more than 60 modules under the NxModule name and has achieved profitability, she said.
